On Friday we made catapults. Overall I think that the most challenging part was putting all the sticks together because the sticks were slippery so it was hard to hold them still when I and Hannah were trying to put the rubber bands over the sticks so they would not slip and slide. The things that I used to make my catapult were: 4 rubber bands, 8 sticks, and 1 spoon. To make my catapult I worked with Hannah I think that I choose the right person to work with because I and Hannah are friends and we get things done fast and we don't argue with each other. The most challenging part was not using hot glue to glue the sticks together because I normally use hot glue and sellotape to stick things together but we only had rubber bands to use, it was also challenging because when you tried to put the stuff together with rubber bands they snap it you put them too tight around the sticks. This week the whole class learned what onomatopoeia meant and we had to finish an onomatopoeia worksheet. We had to use these words to make stand out. Twang, woosh, boom, bast. The two last words we got to choose what we wanted the word to be. I really enjoyed doing this and had some fun doing this worksheet I would give this worksheet an 8/10 because I like it and had fun but it was a tiny bit confusing doing it. By Madison.

This week I did the stolen book page maths mystery. The thing I had the most fun doing was the triangle maths at starters I did not know what it meant but I figured it out. I think the culprit is Florence. At the start, I thought the culprit was jenny but then I went through it again and know I think its Florence. By Madison.

This week I tried to make an emoji that has never been made. The emoji I made was spike blob, I chose to create this emoji because it is of a movie I forgot the movie because I watched it when I was 9 but I still remember this character.

Week 1 Reflection What has been my highlight this week is seeing my friends and having a chat with them because I have not seen my friends for 7 weeks we only could face time each other on google hangouts. What was I nervous about this week I was nervous about coming back to school because I have not seen the teachers in person for 7 weeks and seeing my friends because we have not seen each other in 7 weeks two and I did not know what was going to happen at school. For dress-up day I dressed up as a bunny rabbit I had a pink paradise t-shirt on and my pants where new york city pants that had black with pink, mustard, and blue on them and I had brown bunny ears and black face paint on with a little pink skirt. The milk bottle creations I made was a Teddy Bear and a Bunny The bunny was a secret Lollie stash and the Bear was a pot plant The hardest part was putting the plant into the bear pot when it was wet because time was nearly up and I had to finish so I had to put the plant in the pot with the dirt and the dirt stuck on the paint :( But in the end, I got the dirt off and it looked great and for the bunny, the hardest part was painting the bunny I thought that painting the bunny would be so easy but it was not because there was a lot of people around me and there paint keeper splashing on my white bunny and I had to let the bunny dry then put another layer of white paint over the splashes of paint . The easiest part was drawing the outline of the bunny and bear then cutting them out. I enjoyed creating the bunny and bear because I love art and I love creating and painting lots of things. Today I did Monkey mystery it was challenging. For the first question the monkey was a male there was more true than fake so it was a male. This week I went to the beach and stayed with my nan ( she lives by herself). At the beach, me and my mum, brother, and Nan went for a walk that was 30 minutes in the bush. At the end of the bush there was a beach( I forgot the name of the beach) we stayed at the beach for 2 hours. Me and Calin my brother raced boats down a stream my boat won the first race but then his boat kept winning after. then later on in the day I went into the water and started to do gymnastics in the water mum took a photo of me doing a handstand in the water. Then after I got bored of doing that I went rock climbing on huge holders and I found a rock pool with 3 starfish in it. I had so much fun at the beach. My brother Calin stared to make sand sculptures so I tried his where better than mine. I found a swing at the beach to but it was way too high for Me to reach to sit on so I had to hold on with my arms and swing but don't worry I put hand sanitizer on after.
