The mystery of the Astronaut!

Image
23/09/20 Today I and Haven have finished our Mystery of the Astronaut! It was fun but challenging. The first question was the hardest but out of 1/10, it would be a 4/10 because I found it really easy but Haven didn't know what to do for it. I loved working with Haven we bonded well and we had fun together doing it The culprit is HUGO COOPER age 18, AMERICAN BOY has BLONDE hair. by Madison.M

This week the whole of Pekapeka had to do Chapter challenge for one of our tasks for the last week of school for term 3. I chose to make Abbey, Ross, and Jimmy playing at the Talent show . I was originally just doing Abby singing but then I got the idea that I could make all of the band members. By Madison.M

The mystery of the stolen cake slice!

18/09/20 This week I have been working on the Mystery of the missing cake slice. I found the last question the hardest because you have to draw down a diagram of what it looks like then u have to follow the arrows but everything I tried didn't fit in the Square. When I have finished the Mystery and the teacher called out the person I got it wrong I got everything right except the last question. I worked by myself for the Mystery. The cake stealer was Hanna Hapiata!

The mystery of the stolen gold medal!

16/09/20 This week I did two literacy Mysteries. This Mystery I did with Hannah  one of my best friends. Click on this link to see me and Hannahs's Literacy mystery working out.  You will see the culprit's name on the slides. I found the trophy part of it challenging. by Madison

Crystal art! for science

Image
10/09/20 Today the Science group made crystal art on black paper so the white crystals would show up so we can see then. We made the crystal solution that we painted with, with Epsom salt / Magnesium sulfate, boiling water / hot water. We had to mix it together in till the Epsom salt was dissolved in the hot water. In my mixture, I added food coloring after I had done some stuff with the normal liquid. The food coloring I used was yellow because I found that yellow works the best for showing up when it drys. The people in my group is Hannah  and Candace,  Candace is absent so it was just me and Hannah to create our two crystal art projects. By Madison
