This is my week two chapter chat activity.
I did my nickname because in the story holes Stanley got a nickname and I have heaps of nicknames.
I had trouble choosing a nickname.
Stanley's nickname is caveman and my nickname is Mad's
13.11.20 Today I did our think like a detective task. There are two different codes you need to break. The code spells a sentence but instead of it being letter codes it's letter coding. 1# code is: Look carefully to uncover the clues. 2# code is: This is no red Herring. After we finished both of the codes we get to make up our own code for a friend or a class member to figure out. I found this detective task way better than the others that we do for coding because we used letter's not numbers. By Madison
13/10/2020 Yesterday when I got to school I saw Police tape up around the door to get into whetu's Main door into the Milky Way, I was confused and a bit weird feeling at first then I saw the "broken" glass window on the door with blood running down it and I was feeling a bit uncomfortable until I saw my friends for the first time in like forever. Then the teacher's called us in and everyone looked so confused until the teacher's said what was happening and that someone from this school had broken into our class and stolen all the Milky ways (chocolates) Then we watched a video of the Police Talking about our class and that we need to help them solve this crime, Who was the Staff member who broke into our class. The Scene: Broken glass door with blood on the broken glass. Pink scrunchie on the ground. Mr. Singh's driver's license under the silver trolley. Blood on the floor close to the door. foot prints walking through the scene. Smashed vase on the floor...
22/10/20 For 2 week's our class, Whetu has been working on a C.S.I team project to find out who "broke" into our classroom. Sally a police officer who goes to crime scenes to collect Fingerprints came to our classroom to show us how to collect fingerprints. After she came we got these worksheets that we have to put our fingerprints on, right and left hand. By Madison
