Term 2 reflection 2020

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is Maths Mystery because every week we have different Maths slides and every week we have to challenge ourselves and try and do it. I have also liked having time table rock stars because it has been helping me with maths. I can now answer questions faster. It helps me with the weekly maths challenge  because it helps me with the maths challenge answers.  When it gets hard, I skip that question and go back to it the next day, after I have done time table rock stars, and learned the answers. I can then do it easier and I have confidence in my answer.

Something that has challenged me this term has been Number of the Day. When we do number of the day there are multiplication and division questions and I am not that confident with these. I struggle to do division because I haven't learned all the divisions yet. On time table rock stars there are no divisions so I don't do them that much and that's why it's harder for me to do them.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the milk bottle creations because I love creating stuff out of old recycling that has to go to the dump or gets recycled. I have created pencil holders, plant pots and paint pots out of these items so they didn't have to go to the dump. For the milk bottle challenge I made a pot plant bear and a lolly bunny.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was dance with Mrs Frazer because I do ballet, contemporary and Jazz. I love dancing especially if I am with my friend dancing for fun.

An aim I have for my learning is to try and make all my learning a supernova and don’t give up when I don’t really want to do it. I also really want to learn how to do divisions.
