Zoo inquiry

Image
Zoo inquiry. "Should animals be kept in zoos?" (Yes) I think animals should be kept in zoos because zookeepers look after them and they give them there yearly immunization's at the zoo and the animals are happy, the animals love there life in zoo's because they get whatever they want basically. When I do junior zoo keeper's every year at Auckland zoo I learn about the animal's and what they do to them, they feed the monkey's ice pop's with fruit inside them so the monkeys can use there claws to get the fruit out of them and as well as having a yummy fruit pop the ice actually scratch's down there claws so that they don't scratch the zoo keeper's our get there claws stuck anywhere. Math's Mahi

Image
20/08/2020 This week for Math's Mahi the animal's group (Which I'm in) did Addition & Subtraction, Multiplication & Division, Proportions & Ratios. The hardest part was Division for me because I find Divison hard and confusing, I was always the time's table type. For the investigation we did ENLARGEMENT.  Enlargement is about making a picture bigger by exactly the same amount. I choose out of the harder one's the cat because I like challenging things. Cross country Reflection 2020

Image
Cross Country Reflection 2020 This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10-year-old’s age group. I am most proud of keeping on trying when it was hard and I was sweaty and it was hard to breath because it was so hot outside. I think my effort towards our training at school was great because I tried so hard to do 2 or 3 laps every day if I could and at the end of our training I was sweaty and I had the stitch and I just wanted to sit down. It was hard and a little fun on cross country day because it was like a million degree’s outside. I felt like I was in a deep fryer.  It was so hot. At the end of the race I was sweaty and hot and annoyed and it was hard to breath and I  poured water all over myself. I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by keeping going when I could barely breathe and I was tired.

7/08/2020 Today Whetu class did a Friday challenge we had to get into our constellation groups for this challenge. Alyssa, Mellisa, Emily, Cody, Gaurav, are in my learning constellation group. Our group chooses to do Micky Mouse's group for our cartoon challenge. I made Mini from Micky mouse for the cartoon challenge. I put heaps of effort into making my creation on google docs. I tried to put heaps of detail in my creation and tried to make the colors similar to the actual picture of Mini I was trying to create. By Madison.M
