Cross country Reflection 2020

 Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10-year-old’s age group.

I am most proud of keeping on trying when it was hard and I was sweaty and it was hard to breath because it was so hot outside.

I think my effort towards our training at school was great because I tried so hard to do 2 or 3 laps every day if I could and at the end of our training I was sweaty and I had the stitch and I just wanted to sit down.

It was hard and a little fun on cross country day because it was like a million degree’s outside.

I felt like I was in a deep fryer.

It was so hot.

At the end of the race I was sweaty and hot and annoyed and it was hard to breath and I  poured water all over myself.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by keeping going when I could barely breathe and I was tired.
